Obituary of William Arthur Green

William Arthur Green, age 71, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri passed away October 10, 2015 at his residence. William was born in Portland, Indiana on April 20, 1944, the son of Raymond and Ardelle (Witt) Green. He was united in marriage January 30, 1965 to June Patterson in Portland, Indiana. William retired from Ace Hardware as a development manager. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and bar-b-que. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church of Lake Ozark, Missouri and a 50 year member of the Elks Lodge; first joining in Portland, Indiana. William is survived by his wife June of the home; two daughters, Karen Bernsen and husband, Eugene, of Iberia and Kim Green of Lake Ozark; one son Chad Green of Lake Ozark; one grandson Titus Green; his sister Gloria Helms and husband Mike of Van Buren, Indiana; his nephew Matt Stephenson and wife Michelle and their sons Jake and Josh; and many other friends and relatives. William was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister Carol Stephenson. Honorary Pallbearers John Parish, Tim Long, Ken Helms, Roger Wolfe, Mike Baker, and John Young.
