Obituary of Howard William Carlson

Howard William Carlson, age 100, passed away at his home in Osage Beach, Missouri on October 26, 2015. Howard was born on March 16, 1915, in Waukegan, Illinois the son of Harry D. and Augusta (Siegler) Carlson. Howard served his country during World War II in the United States Marines. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Varallo on June 17, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois,she preceded him in death on December 30, 1999. Howard worked as an electrician before retiring to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1985. He truly loved the lake area and enjoyed golfing, fishing and boating. He was a member of the Marine Corp League of Kaiser and the Shrine Club of Osage Beach. He is survived by his daughter Carol Cimmarusti of Lake St Louis, Missouri; two grandsons; John Cimmarusti and Jeff Cimmarusti and his wife Michelle; two great-grandchildren Danielle and Nicholas Cimmarustic; one brother Harry Carlson and his wife, Jean, of Illinois; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Augusta; his wife Rosemary; his son-in-law John Cimmarusti; and two sisters.
