Obituary of Helen Joanne Bolz

Helen Joanne Bolz, age 78, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Joanne was born August 15, 1937 in Wathena, Kansas, the daughter of Naurice and Lorene (Kilgore) Fleek. She was united in marriage August 23, 1958 in Salina, Kansas to Carl Bolz. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Joanne worked with Camden County Department of Family Services for 10 years and was a real estate agent in the lake area. She was active in the lake community, serving as a founding member for the Lake Regional Health System's Location and Funding Committee. She was also a member of the Camdenton Parent Teacher Association. Joanne was a member of Camdenton United Methodist Church where she was actively involved in various church functions. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles and word games, however, Joanne's greatest joy in life was her family. Joanne was a devoted wife and helpmate to her husband Carl and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Joanne is survived by her husband Carl; two sons, Bradly Bolz of Kirksville, Missouri and Brian Bolz and wife, Molly, of Camdenton, Missouri; one daughter Brenda Dahlhoff and husband, David, of Warrensburg, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Brandon Hargrave (Elizabeth), Denton Hargrave (Michelle), Brittany Bolz, Hope Dahlhoff, Jenna Dahlhoff, Joshua Dahlhoff, Tessa Joseph (Hansen), Nick Dahlhoff, and Justin Dahlhoff; and one great-granddaughter, Eliza; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Naurice and Lorene Fleek; one daughter, Susan Diane Bolz; and two brothers, William Fleek and James Fleek.
