Obituary of William Lloyd Needham
William Lloyd Needham was born July 21, 1928, however his mother disagreed with that date, so it was decided Bill would have two birthdays every year. One on the 21st and one on the 22nd.
He was born in Chicago or maybe Gorham, Illinois. Bill always claimed Gorham, but his mother said Chicago.
Bill serves his country in WWII in the Navy and in the Korean War in the Army.
He was united in marriage to Lucille Needham of St. Charles, Missouri in 1951 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
He and his family moved from St. Charles, to Fulton, to Lake Ozark, Missouri. Bill worked as an electrical engineer and started his own cell phone business before retiring at the lake.
After retiring he wrote three books. He loved traveling and vacationing to new areas. He had been in every state in the nation.
Bill was in Knights of Columbus and loved participating with fellow parishioners in activities helping the community and his church, Our Lady of the Lake.
Bill truly loved the area and the peace and serenity surrounded by his friends and family. he will be missed dearly.
Services were held Friday, November 6, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
