Obituary of Barbara Jeanne Woodsum

Barbara Jeanne Woodsum, age 66, of Osage Beach, Missouri, died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at her home in Osage Beach. Barbara was born February 25, 1949 in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Theron Jasper Harrel and Mildred Evelyn Harrel. She was united in marriage June 9, 1973 in Ottawa, Kansas, to John David "JD" Woodsum. They shared 42 years of marriage together. Barbara worked for the HR department of Target through the past 18 years. She loved her job, and the people she worked with; "Target was her life." Barbara loved children so very much. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and sister. She will be missed dearly. Barbara is survived by her husband JD ; her son Brian Jeffery Woodsum of Ottawa, Kansas; her brother Jerry Harrel, of Tucson, Arizona; along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Theron and Mildred Harrel; and one sister, Prisilla Fritts.
