Obituary of Mary C. Summers

Mary C. (Poskin) Summers, 56, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away due to a sudden illness on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at her residence. Mary was born in Kankakee IL; the daughter of the late Raymond and Opal Poskin. She graduated from The Professional Massage Training School in Springfield, Missouri as a Massage Therapist. She was a member of The Rock House Church in Linn Creek, Missouri. Mary enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends and rooting for the Steelers. She relished in the happiness that came from serving others and spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Surviving are three daughters, Rachel Davis of Harira, GA, wife to Christopher Davis, Jennifer Palacio of Bourbonnais, IL (Aaron Lawrence), and Sarah Summers of Linn Creek, MO (Nate Agnew), and two sons, Aric Brown of Troy, IL, husband to Lyra Brown and Jake Smith of Brookport, IL; 10 Grandchildren Kaylee Palacio, Devin Towns, Marissa Davis, Kayree Hickman, Adrian Davis, Quinton Lawrence, Blake Lawrence, Madison Casino, Luke Brown and Cassidy Smith; one brother Joe Poskin of St. Anne, IL husband to Rachel; one sister Sarah Wilken of Kankakee, IL wife to Wayne. Along with her parents, Raymond and Opal Poskin, Mary was preceded in death by her Brother James (Bucky) Poskin, and sister Rebecca (Sue) Henry; two nieces Megan LaGesse, and Angel Poskin; one nephew Richard Poskin;both sets of grandparents; as well as aunts and uncles and cousins.
