Obituary of Melinda Ann Hicks-White
Melinda Ann "Minnow" Hicks-White, age 58, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at her home in Lake Ozark.
Minnow was born October 18, 1957 in Hot Springs, South Dakota, the daughter of Melvin and JoAnn (Jorden) Hicks.
She was united in marriage December 23, 1994 to William "Bill" White who preceded her in death December 23, 2014.
Minnow earned her Master's degree in nursing and was a licensed nurse practitioner. She worked for over 20 years with the St. Louis Children's Hospital Neonatal Unit. She adored her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Minnow was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed.
Minnow is survived by her nieces, Jennifer Hicks-Enemark of Linn Creek, Missouri and Jordan Hicks of Kansas City, Kansas; her nephew James Steed White of Warren, Arkansas; her great niece Avalon Enemark; her great nephews Graelem Enemark, Rigby Fox and Hardison Enemark; along with several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and JoAnn Hicks; her husband Bill White; and her brothers Charles Lee Hicks and Stephen Lee Hicks.
