Obituary of Martha Jane Lindquist

Martha Jane "Marty" Lindquist, age 81, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. Marty was born November 22, 1933 in Thomasville, Missouri, the daughter of Samuel and Ethel (Perkins) Watson. Marty worked for many years as an event coordinator in the hospitality industry. In her spare time, she enjoyed walking, bowling, and playing volleyball. Marty was a member of Lake Ozark Christian Church. Marty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed dearly. Survivors are her son Ron Lindquist and wife, Fawn, of Imperial, Missouri; daughter Gail Solysiak of St. Louis, Missouri; her brother John Watson and wife, Martha, of West Plains, Missouri; her sisters Mary Zielke of Bolivar, Missouri and Dorothy Ward and husband, Fritz, of Springfield, Missouri; daughter-in-law Jennifer Lindquist; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ethel Watson; her brothers Samuel and Orren Watson; and sisters Jean Shedd, Allyne Hake, and Louise Fellor; and her son, Rick Lindquist.
