Obituary of Clifford W. Scarborough

Clifford W. Scarborough, 84, of Climax Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 23, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Cremation is planned with a celebration of life to follow at a later date. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond C. and Letha Scarborough, a brother Raymond Carl Scarborough, and sister Barbara Thrasher. Clifford leaves his sister Betty Powers (Bill), his devoted and loving wife of 65 years, Nadine P. Scarborough; two sons, Bill Scarborough (Janet), Blue Springs, Missouri; Gary Scarborough(Gina Gowin), Independence, Missouri; three daughters, Vicki Becker (Gary), Odessa, Missouri; Sandy Seaton (Terry), Idaho; Jackie Choron (Donnie), Bates City, Missouri. Clifford was a "Grandpa" to 24 grand children, 25 great grand-children and 4 great great grand children. Clifford was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and retired from Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, Missouri. Clifford was a 60 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #385, Independence MO. Past Master and member of the Blue Springs Masonic Lodge #337, and a member of the American Legion Post #499, Blue Springs, Missouri. Clifford was a devoted husband, dad and grandpa. He cherished his time at the Lake with family, friends, and neighbors. He loved time spent wood-working and fishing. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in the name of Clifford Scarborough, be sent to the Shriner's Children Hospital.
