Obituary of Linda Ann Lamb

Linda Ann Lamb, age 65, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at her home in Osage Beach, Missouri. Linda was born April 12, 1950 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of Charles and Aileen (Fitzpatrick) McGarry. She was a 1968 graduate of St. Edmonds Catholic High School in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Linda was united in marriage to Jim Lamb on May 31st, 1969. Together they shared 46 years of marriage, 33 of which they lived in Ottumwa, Iowa. Linda worked as photograph restoration and negative retouch artist for 22 years – 9 years at Colormaster Imaging and 13 as proprietor of her own studio. Her love for art extended beyond her work life as she enjoyed interior decorating, portrait and mural painting. Her other love were her kids and grandkids. Beyond her five children and ten grandchildren, she and her husband Jim served as foster parents. They provided a loving home for 49 foster babies over the years adopting two as their own. Linda loved vacationing at the lake and she and Jim made this permanent when they retired to Osage Beach, Missouri in 2010. They have spent the last four years like newlyweds watching the sun set from their lakeside porch. Linda is survived by her husband, Jim;her two daughters, Shannon of Camdenton, Missouri and Katie; her three sons, Jamie (Holly)of Appleton, Wisconsin, Jason (Angie) of Sugar Hill, Georgia, and Seamus; ten grandchildren: Jordan, Drea, Payton, Cassidy, Jaxson, Skyler, Shane, Damon, Chase and Ashton; two sisters Alanna (Philip) Clutter of Des Moines, Iowa and Erin (Buddy) Engsberg of Edgerton, Wisconsin and brother Craig (Deb) McGarry of Omaha, Nebraska.
