Obituary of Judith A Wadas

Judith A. (Judy) Wadas, age 75, of Macks Creek, Missouri, departed this life Monday, December 14, 2015 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Judy was born January 5, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Grace (Kister) Lemmer. She was united in marriage April 23, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas Wadas. They shared 55 years together. Judy worked as a receptionist for Sisters of St. Joseph Congregation in LaGrange Park, Illinois before moving to Macks Creek. She was a volunteer with the Auxiliary at Lake Regional Health System for 8 years. Judy started volunteering at Lake Regional in March of 2003 where she volunteered regularly in the front Coffee Shop. Judy had volunteered over 1200 hours with Lake Regional. She was always laughing and smiling and was a friend to all she met. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed playing cards, gardening and crocheting. Judy is survived by her husband Tom; two sons, Tim Wadas of Macks Creek, Missouri and Jospeh Kim Wadas of Streamwood, Illinois; one brother Bruce Lemmer of Macks Creek, Missouri; one sister, Carole Jean Lemmer of Osage Beach, MIssouri; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Grace Lemmer and one brother Chuck Lemmer.
