Obituary of Khai Ray Hunner

Khai Ray Hunner, age 25, of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, departed this life, Friday, December 11, 2015, at his home. Khai was born June 14, 1990 in Lee's Summit, Missouri, the son of Michael S. and Sonseawray Hunner. Khai graduated from School of the Osage High School in May 2009. Khai was involved in the chess club. He loved hanging out with his friends after school playing video games. Khai Ray will be remembered for his passion of video games, as well as, his love for sports. He enjoyed sitting around the table with family and friends playing hands of poker. He will be remembered for his passion, humor, and bravery. Khai has touched many lives. Khai is survived by his mother, Sonseawray Hunner; his father, Michael Hunner of Lake of the Ozarks; two sisters, Kelsi and Kasi Hunner; nephew, Liam Keenan; Uncle, Shawn Shewmaker; Aunt, Angie and Uncle, Brian Davis; Grandma, Gwendolyn and Grandpa Larry Hunner; Grandma Velma Shewmaker; Great grandma Ida Burton; Cousins; Christchen, Brennen, and Zachary Davis. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Robert Shewmaker.
