Obituary of Allan James Dobry

Allan James Dobry, 78, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life, Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home. Allan was born August 3, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of James and Helen (Ontl) Dobry. Allan was united in marriage to Janet (Kolsky) Dobry on March 21, 1959 in Berwyn, Illinois. They shared 56 years of marriage together. Allan retired as senior administrator of Employee Benefits and Compensation at the Electro Motive Division of General Motors Corporation after 30 years of service. He loved golfing, boating, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Allan is survived by his loving wife Janet of Osage Beach, Missouri, his son Bryan Dobry of Columbia, Missouri, his daughter Cheryl Ulrich and her husband John of Granger, Indiana and their children Fredric and Rachael, and his daughter Sandra Gifford and her husband Andrew of Bloomington, Illinois and their children Benjamin and Seth. He will be missed by family and friends.
