Obituary of Robert L. Becker

Robert L. Becker, age 84, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. Robert was born May 28, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Henry and Leona (Mursaky) Becker. Robert served his country proudly with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Robert was united in marriage July 12, 1956 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Johnnetta Kirk. They shared 59 years of marriage together at the time of his death. Robert retired from the United States Post Office and retired to Lake of the Ozarks. He was a hard working and devoted man; a workaholic. He loved living the lake life and enjoyed spending time fishing and target practicing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife, Johnnetta; one granddaughter, A'sia McNeal; one great granddaughter, A'sha Pruitt and husband, Jerry; and four great-great grandchildren, Elena Kae, Naima Lee, Tanzy Opal, and Shadie Ayanna. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Leona Becker; and daughter Lee Nary Poole.
