Obituary of Kenneth D. Frederick

Kenneth D. (Kenny) Frederick, age 50, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Kenny was born December 5, 1965 in Lebanon, Missouri, the son of Ward and Shirley Ethel (Hill) Frederick. Kenny was saved by Jesus at just 8 years of age. Kenny was united in marriage September 27, 1986 in Edmond, Oklahoma, to Janette Morton. They shared 29 loving years together at the time of his death. Kenny was head custodian at Camdenton High School for the past 5 years. Kenny loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and lived his life serving Him. He was ordained to preach the gospel in August of 1994 and had previously served in pastoral positions in several area Missionary Baptist Churches. His favorite verse was Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” In his spare time, Kenny enjoyed cutting firewood. His greatest joy was spending time loving on his family, especially his grandchildren. Kenny is survived by his wife Janette of the home; two daughters, Candace Goddard and husband, Henry, Jr., and Rose Frederick, all of Camdenton, Missouri; his father, Ward Frederick of Camdenton, Missouri; two brothers, Ward Frederick and Ronnie Frederick and wife, Lisa, all of Camdenton, Missouri; his mother and father-in-law, Wylie, Sr., and Maxine Morton of Edmond, Oklahoma; his brother-in-law Wylie Morton, Jr., and wife Jenny of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Colton Goddard, Blake Goddard, Aspen Goddard, Dallas Goddard, Kenlee Goddard, and Joe Goddard; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; two nieces; five nephews; along with several other relatives and many friends. Kenny was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Frederick.
