My first memories of Dr. John Bearden were shortly after he came to Camdenton in 1965 when I was in elementary school. He had a great vision for our school and inspired all of us to be our best. There's nothing else like a good teacher!! John Green

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the family of Dr. Bearden. He was a tremendous credit to the educational community as well as his contributions to make the world a better place. I am proud to have known him as a friend and fellow school administrator. He was always willing to help and provide advice to me as a younger administrator. My late mother, Ruth Evington, served as Secretary to Dr. Bearden and to the Board for several years. She had the highest respect for him as an administrator and for both he and Jean as friends. My prayers are with all of you at this time.

Dear John's family. My family was all educated in Camdenton while John was superintendent. I went to church with him and his wife at Linn Creek Baptist church. I Thought so much of them. We were friends in Christ. Rest in Peace John. May God give his family peace and understanding.
