Obituary of Junior Dale Gregory

Junior Dale Gregory of Decaturville, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri. He was born March 27, 1941 in Laclede County, Missouri, to Presley and Eunice Gregory. He married Barbara Curlis from Coffeyville, Kansas on February 14, 1970. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Bernadine Huckaby, and Violet Lain. He is survived by one sister, Norma Kneedler of Coffeyville KS; his four children, Daniel and Kristi Gregory of Camdenton, Jerry and Michelle Gregory of Altamont, Ks., Benjamin and Sandie Gregory of Camdenton, and Carol Herrera of Camdenton; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a member of Mt Horeb Missionary Baptist Church from 1967 to 1983, when he moved his letter to Decaturville Missionary Baptist Church. He worked as a land surveyor for about thirty years, and then as a mapper in the Laclede County Assessors office, retiring after fifteen years in 2007. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and working in his yard. He also loved woodworking in his shop.
