Obituary of Marilyn V. Bowlin

Marilyn V. Bowlin, age 74, of Brumley, Missouri, departed this life Monday, March 7, 2016 at her home in Brumley. Marilyn was born June 11, 1941 in Richland, Missouri, the daughter of Lilburn and Annabelle (Hargett) Miller. She was united in marriage in January of 1961 to Robert Bowlin who preceded her in death in 1999. She later married Carl McDowell in 2001. Carl preceded her in death in 2003. Marilyn is survived by sons; James Bowlin of Brumley, Missouri and Paul Eugene Shadik of Alabama; daughters; Susie Bowlin of Brumley, Missouri, Donna King and husband, Mark, of Ulman, Missouri, Marsha Gendle of Brumley, Missouri, and Roberta Bowlin of Brumley, Missouri; sisters, Ruby DeVore, JoAnn Rowden and husband, Pat, and Barbara Cooper, all of Brumley, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Lilburn and Annabelle Miller; her husbands, Robert Bowlin and Carl McDowell; one son, Ronald Ray Bowlin; one daughter Christy Diane Bowlin; her brother, Donnie Miller; and her sister Veda McDowell. Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. No Services are scheduled.
