Obituary of Chloe Wood

Chloe Wood, age 89, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. Chloe was born March 22, 1926 in Macks Creek, Missouri, the daughter of John and Myrtle Skinner. Chloe was united in marriage August 25, 1948 in Macks Creek to Earl Wood who preceded her in death February 15, 2005. They had shared 56 years of marriage together at the time of Earl's death. Chloe was a loving and devoted wife and helpmate to her husband, and a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother to her children and their families. She enjoyed her role as homemaker and created many beautiful memories for her family and friends to cherish. Her greatest joy was her family and spending as much time as she could with them. Chloe was a member of the Branch Homemakers Club for many years. Chloe is survived by her sons, Mike Wood and Charles (Chuck) Wood and wife, Elizabeth, all of Macks Creek, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren and two step-granddaughters; several great-grandchildren and many, many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents John and Myrtle Skinner; three brothers, two sisters; one son, Gerald Joe Osborn; one daughter, Brenda Diane Diaz; one step-son, and one grandson.
