Obituary of Anthony Jay Story
Anthony Jay Story “Tony” of Camdenton, Missouri succumbed to cancer and passed away on May 3, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born In Maysville, Kentucky on Friday, November 13, 1959 (13 minutes pass midnight) to Norma and JW Story.
Tony went to Catholic School and graduated from Maysville High School in Kentucky. He served four years in the United States Army from 1980 to 1984. Later, he was employed as an electrician with jobs to include: Horny Toad, Land’s End, Menard’s, and Red Head Yacht Club. He loved the outdoors and his favorite past time was to fish.
Tony is preceded in death by his father, mother, and a great nephew.
Tony is survived by his long time love Judy Vaughn along with her son Ryan Vaughn and his wife Katie, and their daughter Haleigh, whom Tony loved as his own granddaughter. Tony and Judy met and dated back in 1982, remained friends, and then were reunited in 2006.
He is also survived by his son Jordan Story of Illinois and two granddaughters Jenna and Brooke Story and seven siblings; Luann Doyle, Mark Story, Lorie Durr, Paula Roberson, Pam Faust, Amy Reis, and Doug Story, all from Kentucky, along with numerous nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at a later date in Kentucky.
