Obituary of Roger L. Dixon

Roger L. Dixon, age 71, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Roger was born May 15, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Roy and Bernice (Gaston) Dixon. He was united in marriage August 17, 1968 in St. Louis, Missouri to Kathy Losh. They shared over 47 1/2 years of marriage. Roger served his country proudly in the United States Army. Later, he worked as Regional Administrator for the Eastern Region of the Missouri State Board of Probation and Parole. Roger enjoyed boating on the lake, playing with his grandkids and visiting with his friends. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Roger is survived by his wife Kathy; his son Ryan Dixon and wife, Lucy, of Jersey City, New Jersey; his daughter Kes Dixon-Schmidt and Fiance Derek Krein of Arnold, Missouri; five grandchildren, Tyler Schmidt, Dylan Schmidt, Kylee Schmidt, Wren Dixon, and Sage Dixon. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Bernice Dixon.
