Obituary of Mary M (Ross) Gray

Mary M (Ross) Gray, daughter of Isaac and Rebecca Ross was born January 2, 1926 in Chilhowee, Missouri. She departed this life Monday, June 20, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System at the age of 90 years, 5 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Ronald W (Bob) Gray on September 20, 1945 and to this union 3 children were born, Judith, Samuel and Christina. She is preceded in death by an infant brother, her parents, son Sammy, husband Bob, great grandson John Isaac and daughter Judy. Survivors include her daughter Christina (Tina) Watson and husband Stephen of Macks Creek, MO, grandson James Duncan and wife Lisa of Warrensburg, MO, grandson John Duncan and wife Angie of Climax Springs, MO, great grandchildren Ronald, Justin, Elias and Justus Duncan and Danielle Cockriel, great great grandchildren Zoey, Jacoby, Bentlee, Piper, and Lily. Also dear friends Bill and Sandy Girard as well as a host of many friends and neighbors. Mary's big heart and giving spirit was known by all who met her. One of her greatest joys was baking desserts and freely giving them to anyone or just having them on hand should she have company. Mary loved feeding and watching hummingbirds as well as listening to the radio. She touched many lives with her unique personality and will be greatly missed.
