Obituary of Treva Kathleen McMillin

Treva Kathleen (Lehew) McMillin of Camdenton left her earthly bound home to walk hand and hand with our savior Jesus Christ on July 2, 2016 at the age of 89 years 6 months and 6 days. She is the youngest daughter of James Daniel and Helena Lillie (Sidebottom) Lehew. Treva was born December 26, 1926 on a farm in Miller County, Missouri. As a young adult she moved to Kansas City, Missouri to work at the H.D. Lee Factory. There she met the man that became her husband on June 29, 1946, Carl V. McMillin, they shared 56 years together before he passed on March 4, 2003. They lived in Kansas City for a several years and Ottawa, Kansas, then after a few years they moved to Jefferson City, Missouri. Later, in the 60’s wanting to get out of city life, they moved to Lake of The Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri. Treva was the executive housekeeper over Holiday Inn in Lake Ozark for over 12 years. She also worked at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach until she retired. Treva was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Camdenton, Missouri, Treva had a zest for life that anyone that really knew her would agree, that she accomplished so much in her life. We will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. She loved going to garage sales, and the peace and quiet of fishing. She had a green thumb for growing tomatoes and cucumbers for everyone and her flowers were none to compare to. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Treva is survived by her son Ronald McMillin, of Camdenton, Missouri; daughters, Pamela Kathleen Moreland, of Camdenton, Missouri, Linda Rector and husband Larry of Camdenton, Missouri, and Jeannie Huntington, of Lebanon, Missouri; grandchildren, Sherri Williams and husband Tom, Carrie Anderson and husband Chris, Carolina Ann Smith, Kenneth Moreland Jr., Chrystal Dawn McMillin, Julia Jenkins, and Jesse Rector; step grandchildren, Angela Greer, Mychelle Pawlikowski, and Anthony Huntington; great grandchildren, Carter Williams, Cole Anderson, Carson Anderson, Abi Williams, Hadley Williams, Acacia Smith, Azara Smith, Czrina Smith, Stara Moreland, Kenneth Moreland III, Reece McMillin, Collin McMillin, Mikayla Pitcock, Jonas Rector, Nicole Jenkins, Mackenzie Jenkins, Ryan Griffin, Amanda Stienke, Jessica Greer, and Elizabeth Huntington, great- great grandchildren, Christian Muller, Leslie Griffin, Trey Simpson, Dominic Simpson and Aberdeen Stienke. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sisters, Evelin Cooper, Lillian Conner, and Ernestine Lehew; sons, Carl Ray McMillin, and Larry Don McMillin; daughter-in-law Joan McMillin; sons-in-law, Butch Huntington, andKenneth Moreland Sr.; grandchildren Aaron McMillin, Melissa McMillin and Laurie Moreland.
