Obituary of Ernest Lloyd Sallens

Ernest (Ernie) Lloyd Sallens, age 78 of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Ernie was born September 11, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Ernest and Burnell (Wollmershauser) Sallens. Ernie was retired from Dierkes Plumbing Company. He enjoyed his retirement living at the Lake of the Ozarks, loving his boat and the lake. His other passions were his automobiles and collecting firearms and watches. He was a person who loved relaxing and watching his favorite television shows. Ernie is survived by his wife, Sharon (Arnold-Skaggs) Sallens; a brother Ronald (Beverly) Sallens; and two sisters, Julie (Rick) Alles and Claire (Harold) Brandon; his loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. Ernie was a member of the Marine Corps League and The Elks Club at the Lake. Ernie was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ernest and Burnell Sallens; and his first wife, Rosemary (Roth) Sallens.
