Obituary of JoAnn Greenway

JoAnn "Jody" Greenway, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2016 at her residence in Osage Beach. Jody was born February 4, 1935 in Barnes, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and Lolita (Seon) Miller. Jody is survived by her daughter Jerilyn Davis and husband, Floyd of Kansas City, Missouri; her son Brent Sackett and wife Karen, of Springdale, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Chase Sackett, Bradley Davis, and Blair Sackett; her husband, Dennis Greenway of Osage Beach, Missouri; ; her step-son Kent Greenway of Tucson, Arizona and step-daughter Susan Roland of Tucson, Arizona; three step-grandchildren, Chrystal Greenway, Melissa Roland, and Brad Roland; and two step great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Lolita Miller. Jody was a valuable member of the staff at Blinds and More in Osage Beach. For a number of years, she was a volunteer with the Lake Regional Health System Auxiliary, and also helped with training the Junior Volunteers. Jody attended Camdenton United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing with the choir. She was also very active in PEO, and in her spare time enjoyed crafting, sewing ,cooking, and baking pies. Jody was an outgoing, social person, and enjoyed entertaining family and friends and attending many different social events.
