Obituary of Dorotha N. Kuddes

Dorotha N. Kuddes, age 76, of Four Seasons, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System. Dorotha was born July 26, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the daughter of Clytus and Alma (Winchester) Shelton. She was united in marriage February 27, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Karl Kuddes. They shared 56 1/2 loving years together at the time of her death. Dorotha and Karl owned and operated Kuddes' Men's Store in Washington, Missouri for 18 years. She also worked for a time at the Franklin County Courthouse. When she and Karl relocated to Lake of the Ozarks, Dorotha worked with First National Bank, and also managed Casual Corner at the Osage Beach Outlet Mall. Dorotha loved shopping, reading, cooking and entertaining, and enjoyed participating in the Tuesday Women's Bible Study group at Christ the King Lutheran Church where she attended. She was an active member of LWML at Lake Ozark, Missouri. Dorotha's greatest joy, was her family, and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Dorotha is survived by her loving husband, Karl, of the home; her son, Jonathan Kuddes of Washington, Missouri; her daughter Susan Mosson and husband, Chris, of Lake Villa, Illinois; three grandchildren, Danielle, Hayley, and Jack; along with several other relatives and many friends. Dorotha was preceded in death by her parents Clytus and Alma Shelton.
