Obituary of Casandra M. Showers

Casandra M. Showers, age 66, of Eldon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Casandra was born January 8, 1950 in Columbia, Missouri, the daughter of Vincel and Mary (Houghs) Hyde. She was united in marriage June 16, 1990 in Eldon, Missouri to Rick Showers. They shared 26 years of marriage together at the time of her death. Casandra was truly devoted to her family and enjoyed her time as a homemaker. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, and a caring mother and grandmother to her children and their families. In her spare time, Casandra enjoyed reading. Casandra is survived by her husband, Rick; her son Mike Lee and wife, Rustie, of Arizona; her daughter, Laura Anderson and husband, Curtis, of Grand Junction, Colorado; her brother Randy Hyde; her sisters, Mary Lou Bellew, Ruth Ann Carter, Patty Boydston, and Regina Hyde; three grandchildren, Zachery Bransteeter, Rebecca Branstetter, and Nathaniel Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents Vincel and Mary Hyde and her sister JoAnn Hampton.
