Obituary of Patricia Ann Yankey-Hobbs

Patricia Ann Yankey-Hobbs, age 59, of Camdenton MO went to be with our Lord on Sunday August 21, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach MO. Patricia was born June 15 1957 in St. Charles MO, the daughter of Roy Lee Yankey and Imogene Ruth (Cox) Yankey. Patricia was saved and baptized on May 3 1966 at Ridge Crest Baptist Church at the age of 9. She always lived her life as a dedicated beacon for Jesus Christ. Patricia graduated from St. Charles High School in 1975. She had many jobs. Right out of high school, she worked as a dental assistant for Glassman Dental, and then went on to work for Sunstrand, The Spindle House restaurant, Casey's General Stores, & Electrovert-Wieland MFG. On June 19,1976 Patricia was joined in marriage to Francis (Gene) Hobbs. They had 2 children Michael Hobbs of Macks Creek & Jennifer Hobbs of Camdenton. They had just celebrated 40 years of marriage together. Patricia loved spending time with her children & grandchildren; her world revolved around them. She wasn't shy about talking about the Lord & wanted to make sure we all knew Him, even from a young age. She took great pride in knowing the Lord and teaching us about Him. She also loved doing Bible study courses & received many Bible study certificates. Patricia is survived by her husband Francis (Gene) Hobbs of Camdenton MO; her son, Michael Hobbs and wife, Wendy; & 2 grandson's Quentin & Ethan of Macks Creek, MO; her daughter Jennifer Hobbs & boyfriend, Richard & 4 grandchildren, Taylor, Leland ,Logan,& Haylee of Camdenton, MO; her twin sister,Pamela & husband Mitch Garstang of St. Peters, MO; & her 3 brothers, Dale Yankey & wife Sondra of Fenton, MO, Ron Yankey & wife Kathy of Simpsonville, KY, and Robert Yankey & wife Brenda of Crestwood, KY; along with many nieces, nephews, family & friends. She was preceded in death by her father Roy Lee Yankey, her mother Imogene Ruth (Cox) Yankey, & sister Donna Jean Yankey. Patricia was a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was also a caring neighbor and friend. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
