Obituary of Scott Colin Ridenour

Scott Colin Ridenour, age 53, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Scott was born March 1, 1963 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Raymond and Barbara Ridenour. He was united in marriage May 18, 1985 in Omaha, Nebraska to Erin Larkin. They shared over 31 years together at the time of his death. Scott served his country proudly in the the U.S. Navy. Having grown up in Nebraska, he coined the phrase "Happy Husker Day", and he loved throwing Nebraska football parties. Scott was also known for his Halloween decorations and shananigans. He enjoyed creating haunted yards for trick-or-treaters. Scott also loved coaching little league soccer and football. Scotty never knew a stranger and if you were blessed to have know him, you were blessed enough. Scott is survived by his wife Erin; his sons, Coltin Ridenour (Brittni-wife), of St. Joseph, Missouri and Clay Ridenour (Arica), of Camdenton, Missouri; his brother Ted Ridenour (Laurie) of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters Robin Peters of Omaha, Nebraska and Dianne Benaivdz (Albert) of Grand Island, Nebraska; his step mom Charlene Reynolds, of Olathe, Kansas; and one granddaughter, Aurora Fae Ridenour. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Barbara Ridenour.
