Obituary of Harry L. Wilcox

Harry L. Wilcox, age 93, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Harry was born November 4, 1922 in Waterford, Michigan, the son of Charles and Lillian (Monk) Wilcox. Harry was united in marriage November 13, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to Marilyn Alice Schneider, who preceded him in death on July 19, 2011. Harry proudly served in the US Army during WWII. After being honorably discharged, Harry worked much of his life in sales. In his spare time Harry enjoyed woodworking, boating, fishing and playing bingo. Harry is survived by his son David Wilcox and wife Marjory of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his daughters Carol Culley and husband, Stan, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Janet Birdsong and husband, Rich, of Olathe, Kansas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends. Harry was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lillian Wilcox; his wife Marilyn; three brothers; five sisters; and two grandsons.
