Obituary of David Arthur Hanneken

David Arthur Hanneken, age 76, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri. David was born May 6, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Arthur and Margaret (Wizeman) Hanneken. He was united in marriage November 19, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Veronica Fone. They shared over 55 years together at the time of his death. David served proudly in the U.S. Coast Guard. After his honorable discharge he was self employed as he owned and operated his own auto body shop. David was known to always be on the go. He just never could sit still. In his spare time, David enjoyed boating on the lake. David was a loving and devoted husband and a caring father and grandfather to his children and their families. David is survived by his loving wife, Veronica; his son Daniel Hanneken and wife, Stephanie, of Columbia, Missouri; his daughter Dianne Koch and husband, Philip, of St. Louis, Missouri; his sisters, Carol Lurkins and Lynn Klocker and husband, Bill, all of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Leah, and Christina; along with other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Margaret Hanneken. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach, Missouri. Memorial donations are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation.
