Obituary of Glenn Dabbs

Glenn Dabbs, of Lake Ozark, MO and Fisk, MO passed away November 19, 2016, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, MO. surrounded by family. A private viewing by immediate family was held on November 19, 2016. Glenn was born May 18, 1934 to Lawrence and Christeen Dabbs who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by son, Rick Dabbs. Also preceded in death are brothers Carl, Wayne, Gail, Richard and Jerry and sister Phyllis Collins. Survivors include wife Erma(Boone)Dabbs, son Mark Dabbs (Auna) of Lake Ozark, MO, brother Neil Dabbs (Shirley) of Fisk, sister Elsie Heller of Columbia, MO, brother-in-law Jim Collins of Nixa, MO, sisters-in-law June Dabbs of Putnam, IL, Sisie Dabbs of Avon, IN, Joan Dabbs of Nixa, MO, and LeaVern Dabbs of Dexter, MO. Also surviving are grandsons Marcus(Nikki), Dillon and Dalton Dabbs and granddaughters Summer and Danielle, great granddaughters Angela, Alexis, Paige, Regan, Caoilee, Molly and Zoe and two great-great granddaughters Laila and Theea. He married Erma Boone of Broseley, MO, on September 15, 1954. They were married for 62 years. Glenn served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. He was a welder at Austin Western at Aurora, IL for 6 years. He was a mechanic at Jennings Auto Parts in Fisk, MO, for several years and also worked for the Fisk-Rombauer School System for many years. He retired from farming 20 years ago and spent his last years enjoying family. During his farming years, he and his brother Neil also ran a bulldozing business for 19 years. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Ash Hill Cemetery Association, PO Box 571. Fisk, MO. 63940. No Services are scheduled.
