Obituary of Marilyn Jean Pohl-Reel

Marilyn Jean Pohl-Reel, daughter of Erven L Pohl and Evelyn Pohl, was born March 3, 1939 on a farm near Bayard, Iowa. Marilyn spent her youth on a farm near Bayard and attended and graduated from Bayard High School where she played basketball. She went to Des Moines, Iowa to work at an Insurance Company. Marilyn passed away November 28, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of 77 years, 11 months. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother-in-law Jim Miller of Lake Placid, Florida. She is survived by her husband, Merrill, of Linn Creek, Missouri; her sister, Margaret Miller of Lake Placid, Florida; and her brother Walter and Sonja Pohl of Lake Placid, Florida. Marilyn was a member of Camdenton United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Dogwood Elementary in Camdenton.
