Obituary of Francis Xavier Geilfuss II

Francis (Frank) Xavier Geilfuss II, age 37, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Roach, Missouri. Frank was born July 12, 1979 in Vallejo, California, the son of Greg and Rose Geilfuss. Frank grew up in California, where he graduated from high school and attended college. He enlisted and served in the United States Navy and after being honorably discharged, Frank pursued a career in firefighting. Frank was united in marriage September 23, 2000 in LA County, California to Jean Johnson. They shared 16 loving years together and had two children, Francis Xavier Geilfuss III (Frankie), and Isabella Geilfuss. Frank was a proud firefighter for the Mid-County Fire Department in Camdenton, where he had served in that capacity since 2009. He also worked for Sons of Thunder, an electrical contracting company since 2012. Frank had an outgoing personality and was an amazing man, always helping others and working for the people in the lake community. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking and camping, and also enjoyed building things and working on cars. More than anything, Frank loved his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Jean and an amazing father to his children Frankie and Isabella. Frank is survived by his wife Jean and children Frankie and Isabella of the home; his father, Greg Geilfuss of American Canyon, California; his mother Rose Geilfuss of Napa, California; his brothers Greg Geilfuss of Napa, California and Kevin Geilfuss and wife, Julie, of American Canyon, California; his sister Nicole Conlon and husband, Christopher, of American Canyon, California; along with other relatives and many friends.
