Obituary of Tracy Louis Dobbs, Jr.

Tracy Louis Dobbs, Jr. age 89, of Kaiser, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Tracy was born January 23, 1927 in Matton, Illinois, the son of Tracy Louis Sr. and Ella Dobbs. Tracy was united in marriage to Dolores Hoover on November 10, 1961 in Alton, Illinois. She preceded him in death August 16, 2012. They had shared over 50 years of marriage at the time of her death. Tracy served proudly in the United States Navy and after his honorable discharge, was employed as an officer with the Illinois Department of Corrections. Tracy and Dolores retired to Lake of the Ozarks where he enjoyed spending time outdoors working on his yard and gardening. He loved living life at the lake where he spent countless hours fishing and enjoying the beauty the area has to offer. Tracy was a member of the VFW in Lake Ozark, the Elks Lodge in Osage Beach and Harper Chapel United Methodist Church in Osage Beach. Tracy is survived by sons, Kriss Dobbs of Eldon, Missouri and Scott Dobbs and wife, Lisa, of Kaiser, Missouri; daughters Cheryl Glassey and husband, John, of Orlando, Florida, Linda Travis of Pekin, Illinois, and Penny Dobbs of St. Charles, Missouri; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends. Tracy was preceded in death by his wife Dolores; his parents; his brother, Haldane; and sisters Dellia and Margaret.
