Obituary of Naomi Levee Ash

Naomi Levee Ash, age 95, of Brumley, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February, 1, 2017 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Naomi was born April 16, 1921 in Chillicothe, Missouri, the daughter of Harrison and Minnie (Godsey) Burton. Naomi was married October 14, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Walter Ash who preceded her in death on July 23, 1993. Naomi worked for 41 years at the Star Motel in Lake Ozark, Missouri. In her spare time, she loved shopping especially for shoes and purses, listening to country music, especially Charlie Pride, and dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Naomi attended the Church of Christ. Naomi is survived by one son; Oliver Amos, of Brumley, Missouri; six daughters, Carol Amos, of Brumley, Missouri, Sharon Knotts, of Iberia, Missouri, Diann Prater and husband Larry, of Crocker, Missouri, Glenda Duncan and husband Doug, of Brumley, Missouri, Reta McKee and husband Jim, of Iberia, Missouri, and Terry Wells and husband Randy, of Crocker, Missouri; twenty two grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; nine great- great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Minnie Burton; her husband Walter; two sisters; six brothers; her sons, David Ash, Billy Ash, Phillip Ash, and Joda Ash; and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00- 11:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rodden Cemetery, Brumley, Missouri.
