Obituary of Thomas E. Beaumont

Thomas E. Beaumont, Sr. (Tom), age 71, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Tom was born July 5, 1945 in San Diego, California. He was the son of Glenn and Georgia (Teeters) Beaumont. On March 30, 1985 in Edwardsville, Kansas, Tom was united in marriage to Glenda Jones. They shared nearly 32 years of marriage together at the time of his death. Tom enjoyed a career in welding, and although he was officially retired from it, he still enjoyed working with metal. Aside from his passion for welding, Tom loved spending time outdoors camping and fishing, and enjoyed living in the country. His greatest joy however, was his family and he relished his time with them. Tom is survived by his wife Glenda of the home; his mother, Georgia Ruffin of Carthage, Missouri; his sons, Thomas E (Tommy) Beaumont, Jr. of Neosho, Missouri, Mark Beaumont and wife, Jennifer, of New York, and Dustin Beaumont of Linn Creek, Missouri; his daughter Charlene Martin of Gray, Louisiana; his brothers, Gerald (Max) and wife, Vickie, of Carthage, Missouri, Glenn (Butch) of Cedar Hill, Texas, and David of Ottawa, Kansas; his sister, Alice Mitchell and husband, Doug, of Ocotillo, California; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his father Glenn Beaumont. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 pm at The Potters House in Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the family.
