Obituary of Mona E. Wilson

Mona E. Wilson, age 95, of Kaiser, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Wilda Trusley, in Brumley, Missouri. Mona was born March 7, 1922, in Miller County. She was the daughter of Frank and Martha (Jefferies) Hogue. Mona was united in marriage to Leman Wilson on August 5, 1942 in Richland, Missouri. They were married until his death in 1986. Mona worked the family farm her whole life and for Kirkwood Lodge for 35 years. She thoroughly enjoyed the farm, being outdoors, and her animals. She also had a deep love for her church and her church family. Mona was preceded in death by her husband Leman; her parents, Frank and Martha Hogue; and both of her sisters, Beatrice Bilyeu and Ruby Stith, both of Kaiser, Missouri. She is survived by one son, Jerry Wilson and wife Jenny Wilson of Kaiser, Missouri; one daughter, Wilda Trusley of Brumley, Missouri; one grandson, Tracy Wilson and wife Doris of Kaiser, Missouri; two granddaughters, Kelly Davenport of Iberia, Missouri and Gena Mashburn and husband Johnny of Brumley, Missouri; six great grandchildren and ten great great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at New Hope Church in Kaiser, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 am prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Kaiser, Missouri.
