Obituary of Bettie Jean Nations

Bettie Jean (Eidson) Nations, born December 9, 1930 to Ethan and Ruby (Parrack) Eidson, went to join her husband Jim, in heaven on April 18, 2017. Jean leaves behind three children, Judy Nations-Martin (Don Martin), Brenda Nations, and Larry Nations (Mike Shoup). She cherished her grandchildren, Michael Bradley (Tracy Bradley), and Allisyn Carnahan (Lucas Applegate). She adored her two great grandchildren, Aaron and Tori Lynn Bradley. Jean married the great love of her life, William Jimmy Nations, on June 10, 1947. They shared 63 years of blissful marriage until Jim's death in 2009. They were loving, devoted parents who always put the needs of their children and family first. Jean and Jim raised their family in Independence, Missouri, where Jean worked as head teller for United Missouri Bank. They returned to their home town of Macks Creek, Missouri in 1977, where Jean worked as a cashier for Tan-Tar-A and then at United Savings and Loan in Camdenton, Missouri. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Macks Creek, Missouri. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, April 21, 2017 at Macks Creek Cemetery in Macks Creek, Missouri.
