Obituary of Marjorie Dean Andrews

Marjorie Dean Andrews, 88, of Macks Creek, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at her home. 

Marjorie was born August 6, 1928 in Eldridge, Missouri. She was the daughter of Arley and Eleanor (Walker) North. 

On April 18, 1948 at Macks Creek, Missouri, Marjorie was united in marriage to Myers Andrews.  They were married for 51 years. 

Marjorie and Myers raised their family in Gladstone, Missouri and after retiring moved to Macks Creek. 

Marjorie was saved at an early age and was a member of First Baptist Church, Macks Creek. Marjorie was a member of the Branch Homemakers Club.  Marjorie loved her flowers and humming birds.  She was an excellent cook, and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. 

Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Myers Andrews; her son Ronald Andrews; her parents Arley and Eleanor North; her brothers Herman North, Eldon North and Ivan North. 

Marjorie is survived by her son Richard and wife, Dianne Andrews, Gladstone, Missouri;  her daughters Beverly and husband Terry Gentry of Macks Creek, Missouri and Barbara and husband Sam Foxworthy of Kansas City, Missouri; her brother Arthur North and wife Glenda of Independence, Missouri;  her sisters, Pauline Willey of Kansas City, Missouri and Eva Creach and husband Billy of Macks Creek, Missouri;  six grandchildren, Terry Jr. and wife Lori Gentry of Preston, Missouri,  James and wife Robin Gentry of Springfield, Missouri, Kyle Andrews and Corey Andrews of Kansas City, Missouri, Mike Foxworthy of Davenport, Iowa, and Michelle Foxworthy of Kansas City, Missouri; ten great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren;  and a host of family and friends.

 Visitation will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Macks Creek, Missouri. 

Services will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 6, at First Baptist Church, Macks Creek, Missouri. 

Interment will be at Macks Creek Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri. 

Memorial donations are suggested to First Baptist Church Macks Creek Building Fund.
