John Adey

Obituary of John W. Adey

John W. Adey, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away July 23, 2006 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri.

John was born October 11, 1942 in a home in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was raised and went to school in Houston, Missouri in Texas County.

John's father, Wilbert Vance Adey, married his mother, Ella Miranda Elvesta Beale on august 16, 1933.  John was the middle child between his older brother, Wilbert Franklin Adey and a younger sister, Karen Sue Burdick (Adey).

John W. Adey married Judith Ann Climer in their minister's home in Eldon, Missouri on January 28, 1984. together they had three children; two sons, Robert Newton Adey and John Michael Adey, and one daughter, Malinda Sue Adey.  John and Judith moved to Camdenton, Missouri where they raise their children.  John owned and operated a residential commercial painting company.

John enjoyed flying his collection of RC model planes. He was good at building things with wood.  John enjoyed playing card games on his computer, and was known for striking up a good conversation.  He was always making people laugh and smile.  John loved music and he enjoyed singing.  If John had a song that reminded him of someone, he'd sing it to them loud and proud every time he saw them.

Although John and his family didn't make it to church as often as he'd liked, John knew the Bible very well. Nothing could question his faith in God.  and when he'd get into a discussion about the Bible or our Lord and Savior, you'd thought he attended church every Sunday.

John William Adey was a generous, heartwarming, honest, outgoing guy. He adored his beautiful wife, and their three kids meant everything to him. John will truly be missed and never forgotten by many.
