Obituary of Gerald Vernon Wilkening

In Loving Memory.....................

Gerald Vernon Wilkening, age 82, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Center.  He was born December 3, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Arthur Otto Wilkening and Irene Dittmar.

Jerry lived most of his at home with his loving mother, Irene.  While he lived at home he enjoyed his scooter and was proud to 'own' inventory of all the keys that existed at home (30+ keys).  His nephews and niece would ask to ride the scooter or use a tool - Jerry would never say no; but boy did he have a watchful eye on them riding his scooter and using his tools.  Jerry Enjoyed that scooter and all those keys for the locks!

He is survived by his brother; Robert Wilkening and half sister Donna Lee Wilkening and three nephews; Michael Wilkening, Eric Wilkening, Raymond Wilkening, niece Kathey Wilkening and cousins Alexander Wilkening, Xavier Wilkening, Sabrina Wilkening and Christine Wilkening.   

From Robert Wilkening to his brother:  Jerry was handicapped from the beginning and is now with Mother and Laurel.  There is a special place in heaven for my brother Jerry.  --Bob Wilkening--
