Obituary of David A. Beezley

David A. Beezley, age 77, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at his residence in Osage Beach. 

David was born February 8, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Charles and Hazel (Gulley) Beezley. 

David is survived by his children, Kathleen Beezley-Tite, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, William Charles Beezley, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Cindy Whiteman and husband Dean, of Hillsboro, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jamie, Travis, Joseph, Raymond, and Dalton; and six great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Hazel Beezley; his daughter-in-law, Teri Beezley; and grandson Michael Beezley. 

David worked and retired from Schnucks Markets in St. Louis, Missouri after 32 years as a meat cutter. He enjoyed boating, bar be queuing and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. He was a member of the Meat Cutters Union Local 88 in St. Louis, Missouri and past vice president of the Meat Cutters Union Local 88 for 20 years. David was also a member of the Lake Ozark Motorcycle Association in Lake Ozark, Missouri. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 3:00 - 4:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home. 

The family invites friends to join them at Alley Cats, on the Bagnell Dam Strip, following services.
