Obituary of Delores Krobot Lewis

Delores "Del" Francis Krobot Lewis,  age 92, of St. Louis, Missouri , passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at  Lakeside Meadows Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. 

Del was born March 5, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Marie Krobot. 

Del was married on March 1, 1947 to John Lewis Jr.  in St. Louis, Missouri, who preceded her in death on February 13, 2006.  They shared 59 years of marriage at the time of his death. 

Del is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Chester and husband  Robert (Bob) of Lake Ozark, Missouri, daughter-in-law; Karen Lewis, of St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren,  Mary Flamion and husband Tom, Brennan Smith, Ericka Pierson and husband Daniel, Andrea Sherrill and husband Scott, Tony Lewis, Blake Lewis and wife Sandra, and Nick Lewis; seven great grandchildren,  Jared Thomas, Dylon Pierson, Emmalee Pierson, Lillian Sherrill, Meg Lewis, Gabriella Lewis and Jace Lewis. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Marie Krobot; her son, John M. Lewis; one sister, Albie Tiemann; two brothers, Bill Krobot and Ray Krobot.

 Del loved walking, cross country skiing, knitting, traveling with her husband John, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

 Graveside services will be held Monday, June 19, 2017 at 12:45 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
