Obituary of Ralph Gilbert Geisler

Ralph Gilbert Geisler, 81, Rocky Mount, Missouri, died on June 17, 2017 in Jefferson City, Missouri.  He passed away from natural causes.  Ralph was born on April 2, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri.  He and his brother Fred (Fritz) Geisler were raised by their Aunt Mildred.  Ralph graduated from Kirkwood High School.  In his career, he worked for Union Electric,  and Special School District in St. Louis. For the majority of the time, he and his family lived in Kirkwood and then in 1996 he moved to Rocky Mount and started a carpentry company. Besides his family, he loved Cardinals Baseball, antique cars, boating, fishing and spending time with his family. Ralph had a great sense of humor and would do what he could to help someone out.

On June 14, 1957 he married Dee Martin and they had five children, then in 1975, he married Peggy Politte and they had one child.  Ralph is survived by his wife Peggy Geisler, ex-wife Dee Wilson, his children: Denise Nifong, Dennis (Denny) Geisler, Kathleen Stuart, Penny Angers, Pam Tiption (Florida) and Ralph G. Geisler, Jr. The girls all live in St. Louis area, and the boys live in Rocky Mount.  He also has twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Services for Ralph will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 am prior to services at the funeral home.

The family would appreciate in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
