Obituary of Lorri A. (Knernschield) Koury

Lorri A. (Knernschield) Koury, 55, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 with her family present in Osage Beach, Missouri. Lorri Was born November 23, 1961 in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of Jack and Jean (Snodgrass) Knernschield-Wilhelm. 

Lorri was a vibrant, hilarious, loving and caring person. She enjoyed refurbishing furniture, all genres of music, and being outdoors doing projects, but most of all,  she loved being a mother and grandmother. She helped create many amazing memories and traditions for her family to cherish always.

 Lorri is survived by her daughter, Brandi (Schaffer) McLendon and her husband, Dax, and their two children, Carson and Cash, of New York; her brother, Dennis Knernschield and his wife, Nok, of Missouri; her sister Julie (Knernschield) Beecher and her husband John, of Missouri; and her nieces, nephew, cousins and other family and friends.

 Lorri was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Knernschield and Jean Wilhelm.

 Lorri’s Memorial Service will be held July 6, 2017 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, MO.

 Visitation with family will be immediately following the service from 4:30-7:30 pm in Sunrise Beach (address available at memorial service).
