Obituary of James Crawford Lane

James Crawford Lane, 43, passed away Friday, June 23,  2017 at Rockaway Beach, Missouri.

James was born June 20, 1974,  in Dallas Texas to Deborah Arlene Lane and Crawford C. Lane. He joins his grandfather Clifford Harris and grandmother Bobbie Lane, niece Ashley Foley, nephew Dylan Shelton and his uncle David Harris.

James, AKA Rooster, Lane was a man that stood and walked in his own shoes. A man that when his feet hit the floor each morning the devil said- oh crap he is awake. A strong independent man that loved his children greatly and always made his friends laugh. It is with great sorrow that we put him to rest and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother & step-father Deborah & Kyo McKirdy, father and step-mother Crawford & Geneva Lane; son & daughter Brandon & Alyssa Lane;  brothers Dustin Sawyer & Gary Lane;  sisters Amanda Shelton & Alicia Lane; grandmothers Edith & Paula Harris; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at The Potters House Church in Camdenton, MO.
