Obituary of Donna B. LeBaube

Donna B. LeBaube, age 67, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.

Donna was born April 4, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri.  She was the daughter of William and Shirley (Hanna) LeBaube.

During Donna’s freshman year in high school, her father took a new job in Morton, relocating the family from St. Louis. Donna later moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., where she raised her family. She was a devoted mother who took great pride in loving and caring for her family. Her favorite things in life where those that involved her children; they were everything to her.

Donna was known for her cooking abilities. As co-owner of Tucket’s, Donna’s passion for cooking was renowned at the Lake of the Ozarks, especially her hot wings and cheesecakes.

She was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed sharing her delicious repertoire of fantastic recipes with her family and friends while watching the games.

Donna lived a very full life and was an amazing woman whom her family will miss tremendously. She was the first born in family that remains devoted to each other in every circumstance, never abandoning each other. She taught many valuable lessons that the family will always remember and cherish. “We love you mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, Godmother, friend, WWATW; until we meet again, sweet girl.”

Donna is survived by her son, Billy J. Cowan of Osage Beach; her daughters, Heather Cowan of Osage Beach and Lacey DenHartog and husband, Mitch, of Camdenton; her brothers, William LeBaube of Morton, Illinois, Danny LeBaube and wife, Mindi, of Roanoke, Illinois and Kim LeBaube and wife, Lorrie, of DeWitt, Illinois; her sisters, Nancy Aupperle and husband, Steve, Jaime Squier, and Nichole Bailey and husband, Dane, all of Morton, Illinois; her brother-in-law Dorwin  Doty, of Washington, Illinois; her three grandsons, Seth, Bennett, and Jace; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Shirley LeBaube; her sister, Michele Doty; her brother-in-law, Kelly Squier;  her nephew Dylan Bailey and her mother -in-law and father-in-law Fran and Joe Skomal.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 10:30-11:30 am at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri. Graveside Services will follow at 11:30 am at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
