Marion Patrick

Obituary of Marion Louise Patrick

Marion Louise Patrick passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the age of 75.  She was born Marion Louise Raley on July 7,1942 to Herbert and Louis Raley.

On June 18, 1960 in Perry, Iowa, Marion was united in marriage to her true love, Hudson V. Patrick.  They spent 57 years loving, learning and growing together. It was their deep devotion to Jehovah that drew them closer together and strengthened their relationship to the core. They lived in many places including: Iowa, Colorado, California and now Missouri.  Marion loved Colorado, however, her favorite place was Missouri because of the wonderful congregation she found here.  She developed friends and relationships that helped her blossom into the loving, compassionate woman we knew her to be.

Marion and Hud were blessed to have four children: Jeff, Kim, Lisa and Matt.  Marion was a full time devoted mother, which she wouldn’t have had any other way.  Her family is as follows: Jeff and Ilene Patrick who have four children: Amber, David, Ronnie and Michael.  Kim and Mike Smith have four children: Dustin, wife Kelly, Ben and Hannah. Lisa Patrick has two sons, Cody and Kyle.  Matt and Laura Patrick have two sons, Stephen and Joey, as well. Kyle and Jessica Patrick blessed Marion with a great grandson, Ryder, in 2014 and will be adding another great grandchild in the Spring of 2018. Marion was also looking forward to Dustin and Kelly Smith adding her first great granddaughter to the family in October of 2017. Marion was blessed with a large, loving family who will miss her dearly.

Marion is also survived by one brother, three sisters and a spiritual family that she truly loved. Her love and determination was clearly evident in all that she did. Marion devoted her life to following Jehovah’s word, loving her husband, family and adopting every four-legged creature she laid her eyes on. The love in her heart knew no bounds and will be greatly missed.
