Obituary of Rhonda Karen-Moore Brutsman

Rhonda Karen Moore-Brutsman, 55, passed away July 14, 2017 at her home in Eldon, Missouri.

Rhonda was the daughter of L.D. (Dale) Moore and Venona Hicks, born July 6, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri.

On September 15, 1999 she married her best friend, Timothy Brutsman at Niagara Falls , New York.  They had shared seventeen happy years of marriage at the time of her death.

Rhonda has worked for CADV, American Cancer Society, HyVee, and Curves.  She had a heart of gold and loved to help people. She had an undying love for animals.  She admired her children and grandchildren and was a big part of their lives.

 Rhonda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma and an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be missed beyond words.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Tim, of the home; her sons, Shawn Wade and wife, Melissa, of Bolivar, Missouri, BJ Whitehurst of Lake Ozark, Missouri,  and Christopher Whitehurst and wife, Kerri, of Camdenton, Missouri; her step-daughter, Tiffany Rand, of Laurie, Missouri; her father L.D. (Dale) Moore and wife, Nelcean, of Batesville, Arkansas; her mother Venona Hicks of Eldon, Missouri; her sister Cindy Brown and husband, Jim, of Grain Valley, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ashley, Rylan, Serenity, Izzy, Dominique, Tristin, Alexis, Tala, Kaydence, Jason, Kaleb, Zimra, Ociana, Zyler, and Orion; her niece Stacy Stiffler and husband, Keith, of Grain Valley, Missouri; her nephew Cody Brown of Grain Valley, Missouri; as well as cousins, aunts, uncles, and many, many friends. Rhonda’s wish was to be cremated and her family will carry out her wish.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 6, 2017, from 3:7 pm at Osage Beach Senior Center, 1031 Industrial Dr., Osage Beach, MO 65065

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those attending the Celebration of Life bring school supplies that can be donated in Rhonda’s name to the “Last Chance School Supply” drive hosted by Lake Area Happenings of which Rhonda was a support and administrator.
